[Sympho-Black Metal] Frostmoon

Frostmoon is a symphonic black/viking metal band from Norway.
They were pretty underground, only releasing one CD before disappearing and never being heard of again (even though a second CD was announced).
The band consists of two members, Massacre & Vinterfrost, the latter of which became a renowned power metal vocalist in bands such as Highland Glory and Wild Willy's Gang

The music itself doesn't have the best production ever (since all of their stuff is self-recorded), although it's by no means raw "cellar-recorded" black metal.
Their music is also fueled by paganistic lyrics and tales of vikings.
Expect some heavy black riffing, raw black vocals and clean viking choirs laced together in a coat of symphonic black metal with a taste of norwegian folklore.
