[Gothic Doom] Draconian

Draconian is a gothic doom metal band from Sweden.
The band started in May 1994 as Kerberos, playing melodic heavy/death
metal with black metal influences. Seven months later Anders Jacobsson
joined in and the band changed their name.
Eventually they started playing doom metal with lyrics about anti-religion, death, depression, love, sorrow and other themes.
The band features both clean female vocals (by Lisa Johansson) and male growls (by Anders Jacobsson), making for an interesting sound.
The music itself is what is to be expected from doom metal: Slow, heavy, and evoking a sense of sorrow.
I think Draconian makes some sad and beautiful music.
I'm not too much of a doom listener myself, but I love them!
Everyone who wants to check this band out, I suggest you start with their album Arcane Rain Fell, it's brilliant!
