Thy Light is a one man depressive/suicidal black metal (DSBM) band from Brazil.
Non-European black metal bands are often frowned upon, but this band is one which shows that that's just a prejudice.
It also confirms the fact that 9 out of 10 one man projects kick ass.
The thing I like so much about Paolo Bruno is his ability to make very clean-sounding music while still maintaining the typical black metal sound.
There are also melancholic piano and acoustic guitar parts incorporated in some of the songs.
The band has 2 demos, the first of which was never released to the public.
I personally think their logo is really well-made as well

the first demo is dsbm genre married with some heavy ^^
the second demo gets some nice clean 'n' piano linked with the dsbm
