Irrbloss is a black/folk metal band from Göteborg, Sweden.
Irrbloss formed in 2004 and is Swedish for "Will-o'-the-wisp".
Will-o'-the-wisps are ghostly lights that appear in twilight or at night, often over bogs, looking like a flickering light. Much folklore surrounds this legend.
I posted them in here because their sound is decidedly focused on black metal, and have nothing noticably folky about them (perhaps in the lyrics).
They only have one demo released so far, but don't let that fool you.
The demo displays some great melodic black metal, and it seems like it hasn't gone by unnoticed.
The band got signed and a studio album is set to be released in april/may 2008.
Quite a feat considering they only have one demo so far, but as I said, it's great stuff, so have a listen

Well, they have some paganistic treats (eg songs like "Heritage").
But their sound is decidedly black, only very slightly folkish when the acoustic guitar kicks in, but even then, it's not much.
