Stille Volk is a French Occitan band born in 1994 using various instruments :

String instruments :
the hurdy gurdy
bouzouki
violin
luth
guitar
mandolin
appalachian dulcimer (from the Zither family)
Psalterium (from the Zither family)

Wind instruments :
horn
shawm
flutes

Other instruments used :
synthe
drum machine

Stille Volk is composed of:
Patrick Lafforgue : voice - wind instruments
Patrice Roques : voice - string instruments

Discography :
1995 : Ode aux souvenirs lointains, (demo)
1997 : Hantaoma
1998 : Ex-uvies
2001 : Le satyre cornu
2003 : Maudat (you can listen to Orgasme Tellurique song)
2009 : Nueit de sabbat

They will release their new album "Nueil De Sabbat" in 2009.

I'm very impatient to offer myself this new album! Stille Volk is out of the common! After be used to their originality, it's still a pleasure to hear them!

And I'm agree with Ventfollet, "Nueit de Sabbat" is excellent!
