| I thought it might be interesting to see how you like old and new (Verisäkeet and newer) Moonsorrow. I know there's a lot of discussion on metal forums worldwide wether or not Moonsorrow's new stylistic approach with 30-minute epics is really all that good. For some reason, certain people seem to think that the new stuff is far too long, and even boring at times.
Personally, I got to know Moonsorrow by V: Hävitetty, and at the time I didn't like it that much (wasn't really into the whole folk genre at the time either). After hearing the earlier albums, I completely fell in love with the band, and after I fully embraced folk/pagan/viking metal, I gave V: Hävitetty another chance. And guess what, I LOVED IT! I think both old and new Moonsorrow have their own charm, and I certainly support the brave new direction they've chosen. The newer stuff is less accessible to new listeners, but once you open up and really listen to it, it's one of the most epic albums you've ever heard _________________

| you remind me some stuff like enid which is a black sympho medieval band and also the band i discovered just before folk metal genre or dsbm genre at begining i found them kind of strange i couldnt think i dont like them or i do like them but i kept them aside & now must say im in love with enid gradwanderer cd & dsbm genre is my fav black subgenre nowadays. You must get that "little thing" to enter these stuff. Enid was good direction to go in the folk metal genre in someways then i discovered mago de oz - fiesta pagana & then Ensiferum & Eluveitie have put me deeply into folk metal ..
About Moonsorrow i don't know what to say but ye their last was very good. i think ill wait next release to really answer. _________________ Into Battle We Ride With Gods By Our Side We're Strong And Not Afraid To Die \m/ |

| | The new style is o.k., but sorry, I love the older songs more. |
