Irminsul is a Folk Metal band hailing from Sweden. They were formed in 2005 and released 2 demos since then! They currently have a recording label and are working on a new album. They were only 3 members for their 2 demos but recently got ahold of a second guitarist. Their sound is just wonderful! Epic melodies with epic vocals, that are a mix between the viking harsh vocals and clean vocals (and some female vocals in some songs). Both the harsh and the clean vocals are wonderful! They use a violin as only actual folk instrument, the rest of the folk atmosphere is created by the vocals and the epic viking melodies! The violin isn't put too much forward, it's cleverly blended into the rest of the instruments so you can feel it'S epicness flowing thourgh you as the rest of the instruments and the vocals pass!
Truly wonderful stuff!!!

| schink, why on some of yr posts, the writing is smaller size on soemtimes (like websites for exemple)?
