Alkonost is the goddess of the land of the dead living in heaven and coming time to time in our world to give us a message. She is pictured as a half-woman/half-bird.

I don't know all their albums but i must say by now my favorite is The Path We've Never Made from 2006 and these 2 songs i play quite often : The Night Before the Battle and Nivushka-Niva

I'm starting to work on the translation of "The Path We've Never Made". My english is very poor, as you know, and their texts are full of archaic words and turns - so it will not be very good, but I'll do my best. It's my favourite album in Russian mainstream pagan metal.

Alkonost gonna release a new album on May 29th! The album will be called "Na Kryliah Zova" (On The Wings Of The Call) and this new makes crazy the dragon!
