The band speaks :
"Actually we are really surprised to see how many people is discussing “Red Silent Tides” on our forums, on our Facebook pages, etc. It’s very surprising just for the simple reason that the album hasn’t been released yet! Now maybe someone is judging our work simply by listening to “The Cabal” or most probably after downloading the album from the internet.
The fact is that all the “fans” (fans who speak shit and do not buy any albums??) that are complaining about the musical direction or the “looks” (metal fans shouldn’t care about looks so much from what we know…maybe the world is slowly changing!!) are accusing the band to be “traitors”, to be sell-out and many many other things. We do not even know what emo is, and we do not care. Probably you follow fashion much more than we do. You are talking about our art, our music, our way to express ourselves and you are trashing the thousands of fans who understood from the beginning that ELVENKING is a band in constant development.
Then it’s also very curious to see people that tell us to stick to our “folk-metal” roots and name songs like Romance and Wrath or Dominhate or others. Please be so kind to show us where is the folk in those songs. The same happened with “The divided heart” some years ago.. and all we see at our gigs is people going crazy and loving it.
We are so proud of every piece of music we have made so far, and so we are with “Red Silent Tides” cause it’s all coming from the heart. It’s the sum of all the strain, all the blood, the bad times, the successes, the miles and the passion we put from day one ‘till now, so that’s enough for us, and for all of the fans that showed up at our concerts and bought our albums, supporting us.
For those of you who want to follow our journey together with the band, we will have fun together. For all the others, just do not buy our albums, watch our videos and so on… it is very simple! But first of all we suggest you to listen to “Red Silent Tides”. It may surprise you.
And once again thanks to all of you who have supported, supports and will support the band, allowing us to go on in this hard fight where we never had nothing back for our strains, but just the joy of the people who support us."

Just made the 666th vote destinied to the warriors of Frosttide! \m/ The Ep helped.  (making a review about that cd or well i try to finish it...erm)But I voted for them....also for their fights (the admin's having fun!^^)The other bands are also good btw! but mainly i couldn't decide between Frosttide & Celtachor... |

If i got well the news from a language i don't really speak (erm) the singer has left the band for sometimes already & now is the turn of Niels to leave the band. But they will continue the Hroptatyr adventures with 5 members. |
