Search for a band

Hi, I want to creat a new band with viking death folk metal influences, with bands such as ensiferum, thronar, equilibirum, eluveitie, XIV dark centuries, Kivimetsän druidi, so lots of band.

I search an other guitarist, a drummer with two pedal, a bassist, a keybordist, a violonist, an accordeonist, and other folk instrument

I'm live in france in department 44 near to the 49 and 85
Answer me on that forum if you are intersted in creating a fucking viking folk metal band

Hi ! I'm too in a band based in France, in the 31st department (Haute-Garonne). We play songs influenced by viking/folk metal bands like ensiferum, turisas, equilibrium or eluveitie, but influenced by death and trash metal bands like Children Of Bodom, Exodus, Slayer, Sepultura, and by heavy/power/true bands like Hammerfall, Sonata arctica, Edguy, ... we are young (16-19) but have composed many songs yet, and we are actually looking for a singer (clean and death voice) and a bassist. We decided to make a discography concept in which we tell only one history, that of a group of mercenaries called the bastard ones of the chaos, which, after having killed a dragon is vis-a-vis a desperate plight whose only the force of the weapons as well as a terrible patience can leave them. Even if you are not a musician, it is not a reason to refuse the contact, since in the situation which metal currently saw all the métalheads ones must tighten the elbows, thus do not hesitate to make contact it could only be beneficial.

sounds weird - if official site, and want to put tracks there, rather to get the real sound of the band. this gutar pro cant do that. its useless or well its my opinion

that doesnt tell me how they are able to play in real on their isntr - sorry

it can give little idea on the compo but its only 5% of it. then i need to hear the sound (own sound of the band), the effects, the kind of atmosphere of the band looking, their kind of power etc etc etc

Indeed! But that 5% still is better than absotely nothing.. (Especially if he's still gathering members. A brief overpass of what they aim for could help the possible members to join..)

for joining the band maybe yes =), but for discovering the band, not.

You're right, the songs aren't played by real instrument but by Guitar Pro, and you're right, the sound is rotten !!
We have not been able yet to record us and in these songs one does not find the sound which one finds when we play. And you do not worry, we are completely able to play the pieces which we put on our myspace. The fact that our band seeks also musicians slows down us in our search for studios to be recorded.
And I also think that if the fact of not having been able to put true songs prevents from showing environments and the effects used, that does not prevent from discovering the band, because that gives an idea of what the band is able to compose and set up, that shows the musical impetus and this to what the band aspires.
That also makes it possible the band to create bonds with other bands or people who would like to hear this kind of songs, like with labels.

of course, i didnt say you suck, so far...and sure that give ideas of songs heres the 5% talks earlier but personaly, to be more interested by the ad, id ask more.. of course im talking about me Smile
